ESCONDIDO CITY COUNCIL APPOINTS INTERIM CITY MANAGER
 
During their closed session meeting today, the Escondido City Council received notification from current City Manager Graham Mitchell of his resignation, effective at the conclusion of the City Council meeting scheduled for March 8, 2017. 
 
The Escondido City Council appointed City Attorney Jeffrey Epp to serve as Interim City Manager while their recruitment process continues. Assistant City Attorney Michael McGuinness will serve as Interim City Attorney.
 
Formal action on these appointments is expected to occur at the March 1, 2017 City Council meeting. 
 
GAC will host Interim City Manager Jeff Epp at the March meeting. 


GAC works to create and sustain a favorable business environment in which all businesses can grow and prosper through the monitoring of legislation and influencing of governmental decisions on behalf of the interests of our members. This committee provides a basis for the Chamber to act on local, state, and federal governmental issues and evaluate political candidates
