In Glorious Spring- A Concert of Joy

Escondido Choral Arts will present a new, musical adventure titled Jubilate Deo for chorus, orchestra and soloists composed by Dan Forrest and conducted by Dr. Joe Stanford and John Nettles, Friday, June 2nd at 7:00 PM. The Center Chorale, The Pacific Coast Chorale and the Center Children’s Chorus will sing Forrest’s work, based on texts centered around the spirit of Psalm 100 in seven different languages expressed by his energetically diverse and musical style. The concert will begin with a Harp Concerto conducted by Dr. Joseph Valent, featuring harpist Naomi Alter in Debussy’s Danses sacrée et danse profane, a beautiful prelude to the boisterous exuberance of Forrest’s Jubilate Deo. The Concert will be in the beautiful Center for the Arts, Escondido, Center Theater.
